Selection tasting notes:

1. Leap to 2004: Crafted exclusively from our Estate Vineyard, this wine delivers an irresistible flavor profile, reminiscent of dark stone fruits, blackberry and boysenberry with exquisite hints of currant and plum. Beautifully balanced after extended aging, an exceptionally elegant and refined tannin structure defines the experience. Aged for 16 months in 100% new French oak.

2: Leap into 2008: A delicate nose of red berries mixed with subtle dry herbs entice the senses. Devine notes of red currant,  cherry, and dark chocolate sing on the palate. Aged for 16 months in 100% new French oak. "The 2008 RESERVE is the first wine that I bottled for MARTIN ESTATE inside the amazing 1887 stone Château, with a vineyard that respects and blends with its Rutherford terroir. I knew that we would make beautiful wine, which will be adored and not adorned. It is the best of the Old World blended with the best of the New World. Just like the immortal James Brown, this beautifully balanced Cabernet Sauvignon has "Soul." - Winemaker Aaron Pott

3. Leap forward to 2016: Unveiling an entrancing aromatic bouquet, blackberry, dark chocolate, and crème de cassis beguiles the senses. Textured layers of dark fruits complement the elegant richness and depth of the palate. Smooth and refined tannins lead into a velvety finish. Aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak barrels.
